| This is a suggestive list of tools you will need to start scrap booking.
Some of the products listed are not necessary on smaller budgets. Other products
are a must to ensure the preservation of your photographs.
Necessary Supplies:
I use a Red-Eye Remover pen from Black cat which can be purchased online or you can find them at your local camera dealer stores. To learn more about red eye precautions see photography tips. Other Supplies:
1. Least expensive: Plastic translucent templates to draw a shape and cut out on paper. Then, you have to use decorative scissors to cut out because it is very difficult to cut out with regular scissors. This concept does not work well photographs because you do not know where to draw a shape on the back and you can not safely draw on the front. The way around this is to buy two sets of the templates, staple them together and insert picture in between shapes to draw your preferred shape again using decorative scissors. 2. More expensive: the Creative Memories® Custom Cutting System™ This system, in my opinion, is revolutionary and makes great ovals and circles. You have to go back to the plastic templates to make other shapes. 3. Moderately expensive: use one set to plastic templates and a small light table to place photograph on to see through which part you want cut out. I like to use the Short Cuts® from Creative Memories® that are pre-cut geometric shapes to enhance my pages.
